The Scalextric Sport Track has been the standard Scalextric track for over a decade. It offers four different radius turn options, allowing you to choose between a hairpin or wide curve. The varying track lengths enable customization to suit your layout. The Action track pieces add an extra dimension of excitement. Sturdy and durable, the track can be easily recognized by the two push-tabs underneath, which release the interlocking track pieces and keep the track solid as you race around.

All modern Scalextric Extension packs and accessories utilize the Scalextric Sport Track, making it easy to modify your home track. The Scalextric Sport Track is also compatible with Scalextric Digital Track Layouts. For optimal performance, it is recommended to lightly clean the track surface with a damp cloth or a very lightly oiled cloth before use, as this removes any light grime and dust. Ensure the surface is wiped dry afterwards, as this will help ensure the best grip from the car tires.

The other modern 1:32nd Scale Scalextric Track is the START track, which is easily distinguishable from the Sport track as it can be easily pushed together and pulled apart without any protection tabs. Currently, the START track is only available in the C1411T model. This track can be easily converted to the Scalextric Sport track using the Converter Track Pieces, which are already available in the set, one for the beginning and one for the end of the conversion. The Older Classic Track is recognizable by its round ends and can be converted with the C8222 converter.
